DUBAI
It’s undeniable that Dubai is an aesthetic city, vibrant, modern, and secure. I feel welcome as soon as I set foot at Dubai International Airport.
The rhythm of change in this city is so quick that you can’t say I have been there if you last visit was more than 6 months. The government is constantly developing new projects and implementing their vision to make Dubai the center of the region. They have succeeded in making Dubai the hub of different industries, majorly aviation and hospitality.
Dubai is a dream city for career driven people who are interested in accomplishing a lot in a fast environment. The corporate life is at its best and you would work hard and enjoy life harder.
As a tourist, Dubai has created all kinds of tourist destinations and landmarks to bring tourists and entertain people. The majority of most visited places are man-made. This doesn’t make it less attractive but on the contrary, this is an advantage by itself. This is the specialty of Dubai. It makes it different than other destinations. it stands out.
what to do?
day 1
I have been countless numbers to Dubai for business and leisure reasons. It’s like my second place. That’s why if I want to tell you what I did then it will be true but on different occasions and trips combined in one program. I like to see the contrast in this city because of this I love Al Fahidi area and I use the public traditional feluccas to visit it. I hope you’re visiting in a weather that permits you to do the walk and discover the area. It is all low rise buildings in the old architecture of Dubai. There’s also small museum about the local culture and some coffee shops. You can also find different shopping stalls selling local artisans.
After that, visit the spice market and the gold souk. I wouldn’t say that they beat the ones of Istanbul but they’re definitely worth visiting. By the way, plan for your breakfast on that day at the very nice place, Arabian Tea House.
day 2
AYA Universe is an alternative place to experience rather than see. I have considered more of an alternative outing that I have enjoyed and I would consider to go there when you’re not in a rush. Take it slow and enjoy their digital exploration.
For the night, book your seat at La Perle’s show. I was amazed. You wouldn’t feel the time and you will enjoy each and every moment of it.
day 3
Easy day by the pool or shopping at the mall until transfer time to my desert safari before sunset. You wouldn’t understand the beauty of a desert until you visit Dubai and its dunes. Sunset will make it even more beautiful. After a crazy jeep ride and some thrills to level up your adrenaline, it is show time. BBQ night in a Bedouin style with a belly dancer. If you love tattoos then go for a henna, the local way.
Ideas: places to visit in Dubai are mostly shopping or after the sun cools down. I can suggest these places that you can add to your program as you like. So I will suggest my places for your own judgement: Miracle Garden, Global Village, Museum of the Future, City Walk.
